…Examines the beauty of the interwoven relationship of Filipino History, Culture, and Language. is special class takes students on a journey -starting from their current level of knowledge, and building upon that base level of understanding and self-awareness of Being Filipino. is state of being is fostered through a unique group inquiry. Students will inevitably discover where they are rooted through a series of guided, interactive conversations, and as a result, will have a better understanding of where they are going. As an entry-level course for all ages, the goal of Filipino 101 is to bridge generational and cultural gaps, thus allowing graduates to have workability for future needs of local community and country.

Great way to preserve the culture and language to pass on to the next generation. Nowadays, most Filipinos aren’t first generation anymore, they are second and sometimes third. Unless the kids parents were taught about the culture and language, there will be no way for them to learn this. Glad this has happened!

I believe that the existence of The Filipino School will bridge the gap thats keeping us KABABAYANS in achieving similar if not a common goal that certainly can benefit the majority if not all of, not just our Kapwa Filipinos but our nation as a whole and, potentially, globally.
